Melbourne, Australia | July 14, 2017 — Orbitkey, a company driven by design, innovation and its community, will be launching their latest Rose Gold Collection. With the introduction of softer colour palettes, the company hopes to reach and impact the lives of more people.
The Orbitkey was originally brought to life in 2013 by Industrial Designer Charles Ng and Business Partner Rex Kuo, via the crowdfunding platform, Kickstarter. Their first campaign successfully raised over US$150K with loyal backers who passionately believed in the product, so for version 2.0, Orbitkey turned to their community again to discover which features their supporters wanted improved and refined. Taking these onboard, the second campaign flourished, raising over US$550K with over 10K believers supporting in Orbitkey’s vision once more.
Fast forward to 4 years later, the two friends have now built a close-knit team of 11, working with an array of stores locally in Australia and New Zealand, and expanding globally into the American, Asian and European markets.
With a growing community that act as sounding boards, Orbitkey continually refines and improves its range based on the feedback received.
