  • Creating a “mash-up”, as musicians say, means using different techniques, tones of voice and samples to work on a same music piece. Or ceramics in this case. “Mash-up” is also the way we express ourselves: a mix of language, signs, body language. Or, in other words, typography, icons and faces.

In 2018, ACERA with its brand LIVEN presents the MASH-UP collection in a temporary exhibition consisting in three product family lines that showcase its ability to work with different decorating techniques applied to a single object: the travel mug, an accessory that is commonly used throughout Asian countries and that now is the focal point of a new season.

By alternating strong lettering, colorful patterns and iconic graphics, MASH- UP features a brilliant color palette that breaks up conventions, bringing out primary and secondary colors in a playful contrast.

The ACERA travel mugs guarantee a signi cant dose of well-being, thanks to the particular composition of the ceramic material to which tourmaline powder is added, a mineral that is able to release negative ions and to im- prove the organoleptic characteristics of the liquid content.

A mix of letters, phrases, strokes and signs criss-cross on the surface of the travel mug as forms of decoration and means to express concepts and feelings. While some textures stress out our tactile sensations through engravings and metallic effects, others are reminiscent of the world of comics because of their rounded, bold printing patterns and vibrant colours.

  • Flower of Life LIVEN Tourmaline Tumbler
LIVEN Tourmaline ceramic Tumbler contains no lead or cadmium; it is environmentally friendly and can purify water instantly. Let drinking water stand for 1-3 minutes, water will become Ionized and more alkaline....

  • The "Flower of Life" can be found in all major religions of the world. In Egypt, the source of all the monotheistic religions, the "Flower of Life" can be found in the ancient Temples dating back to 500 BC

The Flower of Life is the modern name given to a geometrical figure composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles, that are arranged so that they form a flower-like pattern with a sixfold symmetry like a hexagon. The center of each circle is on the circumference of six surrounding circles of the same diameter.

It is considered by some to be a symbol of sacred geometry, said to contain ancient, religious value depicting the fundamental forms of space and time. In this sense, it is a visual expression of the connections life weaves through all sentient beings, believed to contain a type of Akashic Record of basic information of all living things.

Leonardo da Vinci studied the Flower of Life's form and its mathematical properties. He drew the Flower of Life itself, as well as various components such as the Seed of Life. He drew geometric figures representing shapes such as the platonic solids, a sphere, a torus, etc., and also used the golden ratio of phi in his artwork; all of which may be derived from the Flower of Life design.

  • The Alchemical Signs Tourmaline Tumbler by ACERA
LIVEN Tourmaline ceramic Tumbler contains no lead or cadmium; it is environmentally friendly and can purify water instantly. Let drinking water stand for 1-3 minutes, water will become Ionized and more alkaline....

  • The Alchemical Signs series, which finds its origins in Oriental and Egyptian holistic culture, interprets that quest in contemporary shapes and colors. Bright and bold tonal contrasts emphasize vibrancy. Dynamic geometrical shapes conjure up powerful primal totems. Our designer began with the ancient alchemical diamond-based triangular and lines symbols for fire, water, earth and air to create exhilarating vertical and horizontal patterns. Pyramid and diamond facet shapes, both fundamental to alchemy, are thought to create harmonious frequencies that bring purity and balance. In our evocative horizontal design they merge and flow together as if powered by an unseen current.
