DECO BOKO is North America's only exhibition dedicated exclusively to Japanese products. Every brand in the booth is handpicked for a distinctive aesthetic and consistent quality—giving buyers direct access to some of Japan's most compelling makers, with the support of a team that knows wholesale inside and out.

Since its launch in 2020, DECO BOKO has built a reputation among buyers for curation that is as easy to buy as it is to sell. The team works closely with each brand to ensure a smooth sourcing process—from first conversation to reorder.

Group Booth: Making Waves with Kanagawa Makers

This year's featured group booth spotlights brands from Kanagawa Prefecture—a region with a long history of innovation in manufacturing, nestled between Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, and the Pacific Ocean. Come discover a range of products where traditional technique meets contemporary design.

RiraRira Hanko – Hand-drawn rubber stamps that bring warmth and personality to everyday moments—planners, journals, letters, and gifts.

Kaya – From Yokohama, women's and men's apparel, fashion accessories, and homeware that translate Japan's seasonal beauty and regional culture into wearable, livable design.

KORE – Bags and accessories with a modern sensibility: ultra-lightweight recycled knit bags alongside handcrafted resin pieces, each designed to add color and function to daily life.

KAMAKURA SIGNET – The Japanese Hanko reimagined as a luxury collector's object. Rooted in Kamakura's heritage and finished with master artisan precision—built to be owned, treasured, and passed down.

Tetsu – Iron cookware with nitride blackening for exceptional durability and heat retention. Heats fast, maintains temperature, enhances flavor, and requires no curing or constant oiling.

TEGAMI – Wooden objects made by Kanagawa makers, designed to carry the warmth and intention of their creator—much like a handwritten letter.

SONOBE SANGYO – Over 70 years of everyday goods rooted in Odawara's lacquerware and woodcraft tradition. Well-made, well-priced, and built to last—guided by the ethos: 'Effortlessly and Efficiently, until it returns to Earth.'

MOMOYO STOBY FASHION – Wearable art made from vintage Japanese textiles. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, giving forgotten cloth a new life. Listed on the UN Fashion and Lifestyle Network. Once Vintage. Now the Spotlight.

    Group Booth: 1-81 Agency

Returning NY NOW exhibitor 1-81 Agency presents a tightly edited selection of Japanese brands: ARAS (lightweight, break-resistant tableware from Kanazawa), Hirota Glass (Tokyo glassware pioneer since 1899), PICUS (pure brass and copper desktop objects), HOiSUM (socks made with heritage techniques and carefully selected materials), and HAKUZA (Kanazawa gold leaf—a UNESCO-recognized tradition).

    Curated Selection — Independent Exhibitors

cucuri – Contemporary fashion grounded in the centuries-old Arimatsu Shibori tie-dye technique. A label for buyers looking to offer something with genuine cultural depth.

Nakamuraya – Body towels developed with specialized textile makers across Japan. Distinctive texture, performance, and design—products that do more than serve a practical purpose.

LeSENT – Founded by two Brooklyn moms in 2020, LeSENT is a natural wellness and personal care line made in Japan. Naturally derived ingredients, balanced formulations, and thoughtfully selected essential oils—effective hair, body, and self-care products with a clear sustainability commitment.

Diversion Co., Ltd. – A streamlined entry point to multiple regional makers in ceramics and glass, representing three brands under one booth:

MATSUGAOKA GLASS – Japan's largest press molding glass factory, founded in the 1940s. Crystal glass developed in-house since the 1960s—exceptional clarity and a finish described as a work of art in light.

YAMAKIIKAI – Tokoname ware for modern life. A pottery tradition dating to the 12th century, and Japan's top-selling teapot brand.

Nishinihon Ceramics – Japan's oldest Arita and Hasami ware trading company. The gold and silver glazework of the 14-generation Touetsu Kiln is a standout for any table.

Gojiai – A lifestyle collection of objects made by small-scale makers across Japan. Things chosen for the everyday: the five minutes it takes to brew tea, the comfort of a favorite towel. Made in small quantities. Built to be kept.

DECO BOKO is the go-to destination at NY NOW for buyers seeking the best of Japanese design and making.
