Deliberately free from excessive decoration or meaning, the word “MUJAGI” originates from the Korean term mujakwi (무작위).
Through MUJAGI Studio, we hope to move away from meaningless objects that merely fill our surroundings, and instead fill our lives with objects we truly cherish.
Embrace each moment with things worth caring for.
MUJAGI is more than a brand that manufactures and distributes tableware.
We propose a lifestyle that enriches everyday life through the experience of use.
We design every moment in which customers use, feel, and dwell with our products.
Before creating a product, MUJAGI first imagines the scene in which it will be placed.
These are ordinary moments of everyday life,
like a table touched by morning light or the quiet act of pouring tea at the end of the day.
Within those scenes, we think about what role an object should play.
We believe the objects we use eventually come to reflect our attitude toward life.
MUJAGI began shaping this standard when we first started making tableware.
Among objects that are quickly made and consumed,
we wanted to reconsider the meaning of things kept close and used for a long time.
Not products that are used briefly and passed by,
but objects that remain within the scenes of everyday life.
Things that gather small attachments over time and quietly settle into the landscape of each day.
Beginning with tableware, MUJAGI expands its gaze toward the time and space of everyday life,
creating objects that help shape those scenes.
With the small happiness found in daily life in mind,
MUJAGI plans and creates products according to this standard.
