• Beatriz Ball Metal Pieces - Made by Hand, Made for Life (Jul 28, 2026)

  At NY NOW, award-winning lifestyle brand Beatriz Ball invites retailers to look beyond its finished, tarnish-free metal alloy pieces to the process behind them: handmade craft rooted in techniques thousands of years old.

  The Cuban-born designer began working with artisans outside Mexico City 30 years ago, later establishing a foundry for her metal designs, where craftsmen still use casting methods practiced by the Greeks and Romans.

  That process starts with an alloy Ball developed herself — a lustrous blend resembling silver that requires no polishing, made for how people use their tables today.

  "Every piece begins with the hands of an artisan, using techniques that go back thousands of years. That connection between old-world craft and modern living is at the heart of everything I design," said Ball.

  The foundry is also home to Encanto, her enameled metal alloy line in a range of colorways — proof heritage craft and color aren't at odds.

  "Whether it's our classic alloy or an Encanto piece full of color, I want each one to feel like it belongs on your table today," Ball said. All metalware is sustainable, eco-friendly, recycled.
