Anhad throws are generally made to the standard size of 40"X 60". However, they can be customised to any size. They are made in natural materials like cotton, silk, linen and wool. These are handwoven with hand spun yarn, hand dyed, hand block printed and hand embroidered.

Based in the ideology of Sustainability the textiles used in making these throws come from different villages of India. The artisans are encouraged to work from their traditional home environments so that they don't become migrant labourers in factories.  

This patchwork throw is made in the traditional hand quilting technique of Kantha. The technique might be traditional but the composition and design language is inpired by the De Stijl art movement.
