Anhad cushions are made in various standard sizes. However, they can be customised to any size. They are made in natural materials like cotton, silk, linen and wool. These are handwoven with hand spun yarn, hand dyed, hand block printed and hand embroidered.
Based in the ideology of Sustainability the textiles used in making these throws come from different villages of India. The artisans are encouraged to work from their traditional home environments so that they don't become migrant labourers in factories.
This cutwork cushion is made using textile waste from other anhad products. This technique is fine example of anmalgamation of sustainability, tactility and perceptibility.
