Each cushion cover in our collection is a miniature masterpiece, handwoven or hand-stitched by skilled artisans using time-honored techniques passed down through generations. From rich jacquard weaves to intricate jamdani motifs, every piece bears the fingerprint of its maker. No two are exactly alike. Slight variations in color, texture, and pattern are not flaws; they are proof of the human hand behind every thread. Beautiful by nature. Ethical by design.

  • Brooklyn, NY : Looms to Rooms, a Brooklyn-based home goods brand, is proving that handmade doesn't mean impractical. Designed with the realities of urban living in mind, every piece in the collection, from chunky knit throws to heirloom kanthas and silk scarves, is thoughtfully created to work in homes of any size, adding warmth and character without overwhelming the space.

Because each item is handmade, no two are exactly alike. They carry the fingerprints of the artisans who made them, bringing a layer of individuality that mass-produced décor simply can't replicate. But the brand's designers go beyond beauty alone: every piece is built with everyday function in mind, versatile enough to layer on a studio apartment sofa, fold into a compact linen closet, or double as both décor and daily use, whether that's a throw that becomes a picnic blanket or a table linen that transforms a room's texture in seconds.

For city dwellers seeking texture, warmth, and personality in smaller footprints, Looms to Rooms offers pieces that are as functional as they are one-of-a-kind, designed to fit real, modern lives.

The collection is available now at loomstorooms.com.

  • Chunky Knit Cotton Throws

For centuries, South Asian women have carefully sewn time-softened saris into beautiful, functional items, and our knitted sari pieces add a new twist to traditional techniques. Our designers have given this range a stylish, relaxed look, stitching contrasting saris into strips and knitting them together. Our chunky knit product range offers women opportunities to develop and use a variety of skills. Knitted items take between twelve and forty-eight hours (depending on the size) for an artisan to complete. Handcrafted chunky knit blanket featuring peg-knitted strands of vintage cotton sari cloth, each piece backed with hand-woven textile for added warmth and texture. The medium-size drapes beautifully over sofas, beds, or chairs, bringing artisanal charm and vibrant color to any room. Made from vintage cotton sari material, this blanket celebrates sustainable craftsmanship and timeless design. • The Blues and The Whites

Our Blues Collection is a testament to the complexity and craft of indigo growers and dye extractors, as well as shibori artists and kantha quilters. Rooted in generational knowledge, The Blues blends quilting tradition with shibori technique to produce truly singular textiles. Contemporary yet deeply traditional. Collaborative by nature. Every piece is a masterpiece made with purpose, pride, and the hands of those who know the cloth. Our White Kantha Collection is an homage to the history of Kantha stitches in South Asian villages. Each piece is folded, bound, and stitched by hand; no two are ever identical. Made from pure khadi cotton and layered four times for weight and warmth, these are built to last generations. Whether draped across a bed or layered on a sofa, the Arashi style brings true artistry into everyday living.

...
