  The Square Tote is born from the meeting of precision and affection. It is spacious, structured, and designed to follow the rhythm of everyday life.

  The cut within its own structure forms a firm and precise top handle, while the additional strap allows it to be worn crossbody.

  Its solid shape holds the day with confidence, while the hand embroidery traces rhythms that move through both the gaze and the gesture of use.

  A bag created for those who carry choices, journeys, and stories — where every form supports and every detail endures.

   

  Our bags are hand-embroidered. For this reason, slight variations in fabric and thread colors may occur, as well as subtle differences in stitching and embroidery style, depending on the artisan responsible. These variations are inherent to the artisanal process and ensure the uniqueness of each piece.

  With or without a strap, it follows your movement and adapts to the rhythm of your day.

  From the Emaranhô Collection, it is both bag and gesture — an embroidered contour that adjusts to the way of being of the one who carries it.

  It comes with a hand-embroidered crossbody strap and 100% tricoline cotton lining.

  Measurements: Height 15 cm – Width 30 cm
  Strap: All straps may vary between 1 meter and 1.20 meters due to the handwoven threads and embroidery.

Because of this, you may find subtle variations in the colors of the fabrics and threads, as well as in the stitching and style of the embroidery, depending on the artisan behind each piece. These unique nuances are the soul of our craft, ensuring that every bag is one-of-a-kind and brimming with character.

  Each color combination has been carefully curated to create truly unique pieces:

  • Blue base with blue details (leather and linen) – accented by yellow and pink ipê embroidery
  • Rosé base and Rosé leather – paired with white or pink ipê embroidery
  • Mustard base with caramel leather – complemented by yellow and white ipê embroidery

• ASCURY PRESENTS "ORIGENS" AND NEW COLLECTIONS AT NY NOW (Jul 06, 2026)

  Founded in Minas Gerais, Brazil, AsCury creates handcrafted handbags that bring together hand embroidery, contemporary design, and Brazilian heritage.

  The brand's debut collection, Origens ("Origins"), is presented in three distinct drops. Ipê draws inspiration from the iconic ipê trees found throughout Brazil, the city of Belo Horizonte, the town of Oliveira, and the landscapes of Minas Gerais. Emaranhô is inspired by Maria Eugênia, the matriarch of the atelier, and by the artisanal techniques developed and passed down over time. Geométricos takes its inspiration from the hydraulic tile patterns that are a defining feature of Brazilian architecture.

  At NY NOW, AsCury is also unveiling its newest collections. Mineirais translates the beauty of the gemstones and minerals found in Minas Gerais and across Brazil into richly textured embroidery, colors, and handcrafted surfaces.

  Created in collaboration with Recorda, the latest collection combines rope handbags with hand-embroidered charms inspired by the four classical elements—water, earth, fire, and air—as well as a fifth element: art and history. Together, they symbolize time, memory, and the enduring tradition of Brazilian craftsmanship.
